. The history of the “Riddling Rack” dates back to the early 1800’s, Each bottle must be hand riddled to move the sediment into the neck of bottles. The riddler (person who turns the bottles) rotates up to 40,000 bottles a day by hand! Made from French Oak in Epernay, France many of the racks come complete with the manufacturer stamp or vineyard markings. The distressed appearance occurs naturally over years of use. Each rack is cleaned and waxed. A great way to display your wine and Champagne collection. Colors range slightly.
